Changing habits, building muscle and reducing body fat all take consistent effort, and there is significant discomfort involved. This discomfort is often significant and it takes some courage to overcome it.
We don’t like moderation. We value balance. These are not the same concepts. We want to be the best versions of ourselves and that means we have to be purposeful about all areas of life including diet, exercise, sleep, family, spiritual health, emotional health, etc. You can’t do everything, but you can strive for excellence in the things you do.
Change, learning new skills or overcoming fears take time. We embrace the process and enjoy the journey. Don’t try to rush the progress you’re trying to make. Just put in time and effort and you’ll see results.
