Starting any fitness program can be a little scary. Usually these fears come from the “unknown” aspects. You find yourself asking “What if I can’t do it." We've been there and we go out of our way to answer your questions and give you a clear path to reaching your fitness goals.

Meet Your Coach

Book a complimentary one-on-one introduction session with a trainer. During this hour, we will explain to you our fitness philosophy and how it will get you, and keep you, more fit than you ever could have imagined.

Elements Course

We love CrossFit, and we feel it the best way for you to reach your fitness potential. That doesn’t mean we think joining a group class first thing is the best plan for you. Learning the fundamentals is best done in one-on-one personal training sessions with your trainer. During these 12 sessions, you will become proficient with the 20+ CrossFit movements. They will include Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, gymnastics and rowing. You will also be educated on mobility, injury prevention, and nutrition.

Our approach with personal training is based on three ideas:

First, CrossFit is incredibly technical. Stepping into the arena of CrossFit is like learning a new sport. In the same way you would not just throw someone without experience into the middle of a Varsity football game, we don’t throw people who have never done clean and jerks, snatches, pull-ups, and rope climbs into the middle of a CrossFit class. We take the time to teach you proper form and technique in these movements so you are confident and safe by the time you start group classes.

Secondly, personal training allows us at CrossFit 43 North to address your individual needs. Every person is different and has unique weaknesses, deficiencies, and injuries we need to work with and around. Everyone works at a different pace and learns in different ways, so we want to work with you in ways you learn best. We are working to set you on a path for longevity in your fitness goals.

Third, we believe in human connection and that being connected to a community of awesome people enriches peoples lives. This relationship with your trainer will be no exception. At CrossFit 43 North, our trainers want to know not only your fitness goals, but also what is going on in your life, and what all you need from us to succeed.

After your initial personal training sessions are complete, we’ll evaluate and decide together how many more sessions if any you may need in order to reach our graduation requirements.

Group Classes

Once you have demonstrated a proficiency with the fundamentals, you will start attending group classes. The social environment will give you a different sort of push, and will help you reach new heights of fitness. We offer both 3 days a week and 5 days a week memberships.

If you'd like to continue working with your trainer in addition to joining the group classes we offer continued personal training packages. Personal training will give you the best results possible.

Individual Programming

Your personal trainer can also develop an individual program for you—be it a sport-specific strength program or a rehab or recovery program. Everyone has different strengths, weaknesses and limitations, so this gives everyone the chance to work on exactly what it is they need to improve their health and fitness.
