Clayton borah

As a young boy...

Clayton was active in sports. He played baseball, basketball, and soccer. Upon entering high school Clayton decided to focus on soccer as it was the only sport he was good at but continued to play basketball as a way to stay in shape for the next soccer season.

After high school, Clayton stopped playing sports and being active, as many people do when they take on the responsibilities of a job and a college schedule. Over the years this sedentary lifestyle left Clayton overweight and with elevated blood pressure.

In 2011, after over a decade working as a graphic designer Clayton and his wife Bridgett were introduced to CrossFit. Almost immediately Clayton began coaching others, constantly pushing them to improve their technique. Health and Fitness became all Clayton could think about. CrossFit had such a profound impact on both of their lives that in 2015 they decided to open CrossFit 43 North.

"CrossFit can benefit everyone. No matter how old you are or what level of fitness you have, CrossFit can improve your quality of life."

Bridgett borah

A self-proclaimed "fat kid"...

Bridgett understands how normal people feel about diet and exercise. Not everyone wants to be an elite athlete and she understands that. Bridgett has been doing CrossFit since 2012 and has seen the results first hand of how it can change your body and mind.

"If I can do it, anyone can do it."

Having experienced long-term debilitating illness...

Bertha knows how very hard it can be to get off the couch and reclaim fitness and mobility.

A former running coach for half and full marathoners, Bertha has had the honor of coaching many new runners to their first full and half marathon finishes.

After sitting and eating through her first Idaho winter in 2016, Bertha finally noticed that her gluteus maximus was getting far too squooshy, and decided it was time to put down the fork and start moving again.

She joined CrossFit 43 North in early 2017 and loved it so much, she became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

I could never give back what I get from coaching others. The joy of being there when a client realizes how powerful and amazing they are is priceless!
