About 2 years ago I did 100 burpees for time. After about 50 or so it is all a mental game. I had to dig deep to finish that workout.
Why did you choose to start CrossFit?
I started crossfit to get in shape. I saw my friend Tony completly transform himself from out of shape and overweight to wining a bodybuilding competition in Boise and placing 2nd in Vegas. It inspired me to get off my butt. Crossfit has made me better at life in general. It has improved my confidence, made me mentally and physically stronger. General everyday physical activities are much easier now. It has made hiking and hunting much more enjoyable. I have the stamina to hike up steep mountains and leave my hunting friends sucking wind trying to catch up. I feel better than I did at 25 and I was in the ARMY in "good" shape. I wish crossfit was around when I was in high school.
If someone asked you "What is CrossFit," what would you say?
A vehicle to improve your life!
